I love to work with first time buyers on a tight budget but I am just as comfortable selling luxury homes. I work in the Nanaimo REMAX office but handle real estate sales in Ladysmith, Nanoose Bay, Lantzville and in Parksville.

I was born in Powell River and grew up in Nanaimo, British Columbia and received my associate in commerce at Malaspina College in Nanaimo in 1983. My family has been residing in Nanaimo since 1907. I enjoy golfing, fishing and skiing. As a former hotelier, I know what service is all about. Delivering five diamond service is my promise.

I started out working in hotels in BC including Duncan and Campbell River, then worked with Hyatt Hotels in Vancouver. I was with Hyatt for 13 years opening and renovating properties in Vancouver, Hawaii and California. I also worked in the Caribbean renovating a hotel in Grenada. My most recent hotel project was opening the Ramada Convention Centre in Abbotsford.

In my career, I have served heads of state, royalty, screen legends and rock stars alike. Great service and hard work is second nature to me.

My father (Dick Belcher) is one of the founders of RE/MAX of Nanaimo, and I am happy to follow in his footsteps.

My business background prior to real estate was opening, operating and in many cases renovating hotels. Real estate is a service-related business as well, and I deliver great service.

After recently completing a course as a Luxury Home Marketer, I intend to get my Seniors Specialist Designation and Relocation Designation. With the 2010 Olympics coming to BC soon and a seemingly endless flow of people retiring on Vancouver Island, Nanaimo's future real estate market is looking very bright.
