I was born in Powell River and grew up in Nanaimo, British Columbia and received my associate in commerce at Malaspina College in Nanaimo in 1983. My family has been residing in Nanaimo since 1907. I enjoy golfing, fishing and skiing. As a former hotelier, I know what service is all about. Delivering five diamond service is my promise.

I started out working in hotels in BC including Duncan and Campbell River, and then worked with Hyatt Hotels in Vancouver. I was with Hyatt for 13 years opening and renovating properties in Vancouver, Hawaii and California. I also worked in the Caribbean as a Food and Beverage Director. In my career, I have served Kings, Queens, Princes, several Presidents, screen legends and rock stars so I am not easily intimidated in a negotiation. Great service and hard work is second nature to me and I can do it under pressure.

My father (Dick Belcher) is one of the founders of RE/MAX of Nanaimo, and I am happy to follow in his footsteps.

My business background prior to real estate was opening, operating and in many cases renovating hotels. Real estate is a service-related business as well, and I deliver great service.
